For Students & Early-Career Researchers

Research Support From Doctorates Who Have Been Where You Are

Stuck on the methodology chapter. Sitting on data you cannot interpret. Waiting three weeks for feedback that never arrives. Tell us what you are working on and a verified PhD in your own field will look at it — teaching, analysing, editing and reviewing. Never writing it for you.

Our network spans every time zone, so there is always someone awake. Reach us by e-mail or live chat and we will connect you with the right expert.

Free Consultation

Start with a free scoping conversation. Tell us about your project and we will tell you honestly what it needs — and who should do it.

Who We Work With

Wherever You Are In The Degree

The help that is useful in the first year of a master’s is not the help that is useful a month before a viva. Tell us which of these you are and the match changes.

Undergraduate & master’s

Dissertations, capstones and lab reports. Structure, statistics and a genuinely critical read while there is still time to act on it.

Doctoral candidates

Methodology chapters, analysis your committee will interrogate, viva preparation, and a second opinion for the weeks your supervisor is unreachable.

Early-career researchers

The leap from thesis chapters to publishable articles: first-author papers, reviewer responses, and grant applications that survive a panel.

Writing in a second language

Work brought up to the standard your examiners expect without flattening your voice or quietly changing what you argued.

Sound Familiar?

Six Sentences We Hear Every Week

If one of these is yours, it is not a sign you are behind. It is the ordinary shape of research, and every one of them has been solved before.

“My data will not behave the way the textbook said.”

Assumption checks first, then the test that suits the data you actually collected — and an explanation of the output in words you can defend out loud.

“My supervisor says the methodology is not tight enough.”

A methodologist reads the chapter and tells you where an examiner will push, what to justify, and what to cut before it becomes a viva question.

“I have three weeks and forty thousand words.”

An honest plan for the time that is left, an editor working on the draft as it arrives, and an order of priority for the parts that actually carry marks.

“My literature review is a pile of summaries.”

Synthesis instead of a list: the themes, the arguments the field is having, and a structure that builds towards your own question.

“Reviewer 2 has asked for analyses I have never run.”

A response plan, the analyses run properly and documented, and a letter that answers every point in the reviewer’s own numbering.

“My viva is in a month and I am not ready.”

A mock viva with doctorates who examine for a living, and a straight list of the questions you are least prepared for.

Share Your Challenge

Tell us what you need — a brief, a question, a dataset, a draft. The more detail, the better we can match you.

Get Matched With A PhD

We hand-pick the most relevant expert from our network based on your field, scope, and timeline.

Collaborate & Deliver

Work directly with your PhD expert. Review, iterate, and finalise — with full support from our team.

What Lands In Your Inbox

Work you can defend, not a black box.

You should be able to sit in front of an examiner and account for every decision in your project. That is the whole test we apply to what we hand over: if it would leave you unable to answer a question about your own work, it is not finished.

Formats we work in

Whatever your department, your software or your journal insists on.

Word LaTeX R Markdown SPSS NVivo EndNote
Academic Integrity

We Help You Do Your Work. We Do Not Do It For You.

This is the line that protects your degree, so it is worth being blunt about where it falls. Everything on the left is support your university would recognise. Everything on the right we refuse, however the request is phrased.

What we will do

  • Teach you the method until you can run it and explain it without us
  • Analyse your data openly, with the code and the reasoning handed over
  • Edit and strengthen writing that is genuinely yours
  • Read a chapter the way your examiner will, and say so plainly
  • Sit a mock viva with you and tell you where it would have gone wrong
  • Advise on how to acknowledge the support you had, so nothing is hidden

What we will never do

  • Write your thesis, dissertation or assignment for you
  • Submit work in your name, or sit an exam or viva as you
  • Invent data, results or references
  • Promise a grade, a pass or an acceptance
  • Sell the same document to a second student
  • Do anything you could not describe to your supervisor

The full position, in the words we would use with an institution, is on our commitment page.

Testimonials

What Students Say

My stats chapter had been sent back twice. The statistician did not just fix it — she made me rerun it myself on a call until I could explain every line of the output. That is what got me through the viva.

PhD Candidate, Public HealthRussell Group University

English is my third language and I was terrified of being told the writing was not mine. The editor kept my argument and my voice, and wrote notes explaining every change so I learned from it.

Master’s Student, EngineeringTU Delft

Two weeks before submission I had interview transcripts and no coding framework. A qualitative methodologist built one with me in three sessions and I did the coding. It is my work, and it is far better work.

Before You Ask

The Questions Students Actually Ask

Starting with the one everybody is too polite to put first.

Is this allowed? Will my university consider it cheating?

What we do is the kind of support universities themselves provide through writing centres, statistics clinics and supervision — teaching, editing, analysis and review. What we will not do is write or submit work as you. Every deliverable is built so you can explain it, and we will advise you on how to acknowledge the help you had. If your institution has a policy on third-party support, follow it and tell us; we will work inside it. Our full position is on the Our Commitment page.

Can you write my dissertation for me?

No, and nobody who says yes is protecting you. Ghost-writing is the one thing that can end a degree. We work on what you have written, on the analysis behind it and on the thinking in front of it.

I do not know what I need. Can I still ask?

That is the usual starting point. Describe the situation in your own words — the brief builder at the top of this page will turn it into something sendable in about thirty seconds — and a doctorate in your field will tell you what the work actually needs, and sometimes that it needs less than you feared.

Will the person helping me actually understand my subject?

You are matched with a doctorate in your own field, not a generalist with a style guide. Credentials, publication record and practical experience are all verified before anyone joins the network, and if nobody in it fits your topic we will say so rather than take the work.

How fast can you turn something around?

A scoping reply usually comes the same working day. Beyond that it depends on the work: a chapter review is days, a full analysis or a systematic review is longer. Tell us the deadline first and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable and what would have to be dropped.

What does it cost?

It is quoted per project, after somebody has looked at what you have, because a two-hour statistics consult and a four-month analysis are not the same thing. The scoping conversation itself is free and carries no obligation.

Is my work confidential? I do not want it appearing anywhere.

Your work stays yours. You keep the copyright in everything you send, we sign an NDA on request, nothing is shared or reused, and your files are deleted once the project closes.

Can you help with data I have already collected badly?

Often, yes — and we will be straight with you about the limits. Sometimes the honest answer is that the design cannot support the claim you wanted, in which case we will help you make the strongest defensible claim instead of pretending otherwise.

The rest of them, including confidentiality and how the experts are vetted, are on the FAQs page.
